If he was more popular, you could almost draw comparisons with Bill Clinton. All the rumors and the confirmed Lewinski affair barely dented his popularity except for the ones leaning right to begin with. Edwards thankfully never reached that level of popularity. Personally, I am glad to see him go, he had the potential to be dangerous if he could have broken through to the masses. Edwards should be out of any public life now.
